Do you teach radio?

The Radio Literacy Project converses directly with schools and concerns teaching radio. School activities, faculty and students are a highly confidential matter. Teachers, who desire to establish radio corriculum, should contact the project far in advance, so as much work as possible, is done, before courses start. If classroom needs pop up, RLP volunteers hope to extend a fix.   All project services are free. Some pointers:

1. Young children tend to devour radio skills material much faster than teachers anticipate.
2. Building projects go slowly, and teachers should be well practiced in any projects they are teaching.
3. Using radio stations for school to parent purposes, is not a good idea.
4. Schools should avoid station license efforts.
5.Budgets can avoid some audio-visual materials, that are easy to come by.
6. Be FLEXIBLE. Students learn much more in a relaxed classroom.
