"The W People." People who work in the licensed broadcast industry have a relevance to radio pirates. Their interests and talents mirror bootleg efforts. In the USA, we call them the W (doubleyou) People. Some are bad eggs, and we should be wary of snitches, who are inflated by the moment and immune to morality Vs written law. Sometimes employees don't get it, or see us as bumbling or juvenile. Many W People see us as brethren or separate parties, free to create our dreams, and to rebel against radio authority. Radio workers are often slaves to other heavys. Licensee architecture fates that you, the radio pawn, will likely wind up working for a horrible employer.
W People turn out to be the best pirate friends, and we need to keep a lid on it. Shown employees did not submit photo to left.

"How Pirate is Pirate?" Radio free speech is for free countries. There is no such thing as a free country. The USA picture is that congress gave the Federal Communications Commission some very very good laws and some very very bad laws. And then there's policy. Since the FCC can't conquer, they divide. They have friends. Their best allies are the petitioners, who skip over the license free broadcast service idea, and seek to create their own by law mini-kingdoms. The FCC is not all that stupid. The future for pirates, in many countries, is good. The Red Orchestra believes in stations for their own purposes, and cunning and numbers will do the rest.
