       Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What are the most important concerns for a pirate station?
A: Station stays operational, Station serves its users' needs, Station duplicates its self and its interests.
Q: Operational?
A: Individual components of the station should be quality, correct power supplies should be used for powering the station without danger to equipment of the fire code.  Antennas and transmission lines should be weatherproofed, well working and sturdy.  Electric connections should be solid an NO VINYL electrical tape used!!!  Station should remain pirate, not revealing itself outisde of its purposes or franternising with too many contacts.
Q: Station serves its needs?
A: Frequency, locations, wattage and budget are important.  Frequency affects the pattern that signals are delivered to the air.  Forming Stations should read topic Wireless Studio before going further.
Q: Duplication?
A: Stations have needs.  Components may fail and extras should be immediately available.  Stations can duplicate themselves by transferring components to new stations and pass know-how on.  Stations should not force large numbers of performers to use main transmitters or studios.  Public should be welcomed to build their own facilities and share programming.  See topic: bedroom stations.
